Farida - New Paris Boutique
Farida - New Paris Boutique
Located in the NoMo (northern Marais), a new boutique has graced the happening street of rue Charlot. Farida Senouci knows fashion. She has spent years in the business as a press agent and buyer. This experience and sharp personality have combined make a woman of immpeccable taste. Her new boutique named Farida was born of this unique taste. Farida is elegant and edgy, with gorgeous, soft lighting and immaculate detail.
Farida collaborated with fabulous designer Antoine Platteau in creating a truly unique boutique: no easy feat in a quarter that has seen it's share of new boutiques over the years. Even the changing room is a work of art... a large, gold birdcage perched in the corner, made by an Artisan who works for the Fashion Show Channel.
Farida's fastidious care is seen in the collection as well, as every item in the store is something to marvel. From strong polka-dots on a flowing blouse to a Fleurelle bowler hat to a warm winter sweater with a slightly modern cut, the boutique has a unique combination of fashion that serves well the daring yet classic woman. Vivenne Westwood is perhaps the most represented designer. But there is also a wide selection of women and men's wear from Fluerelle, Le Mont Saint Michel, Eley Kishimoto, Linda Farrow, and 0044.
With only two months since it's opening, the store has much history to write yet. But the opening statement promises that story to be strong and feminine, interesting and original. One to watch.
Cesaire Boutique
Cesaire Boutique
The new Cesaire boutique's hand bags have quickly accomplished status among fashion elites. After only a few months, the success is based entirely on the merit of it's impeccable craftmenship and sensual luxury of the bags. These pieces are more than a fusion of beauty and quality, they are elegantly redefining the high end accessories world.
Stephanie Cesaire, the designer, has paid her dues to the fashion world. In her short career, she has worked in many different fashion arenas from couture to accessories with greats like Karl Lagerfelt and Albert Elbas (Guy Laroache). She took the time to master her raw talent and the result has been the ultimate companion to a woman. Never desiring to be the "IT" bag, a Cesaire bag is, instead, a timeless piece. Original and unique, yet with a strong sense of tradition these bags spare no expense for quality. They are even created in France by the tradition of skilled artisian hands.
She creates her handbags with the precision of architect constructing a house, but with an elegance in form and attention to detail that likens to a couture dress.
The bags are not just sold in the 1st and only boutique, but rather around the world in Harvey Nichols, Beams House, L'appartement and Anayi
These products are real and authentic because the creator took the time to become an artist with something to say, not just searching for status. Ironic that the fashion world has responded so strongly to a designer who desires to be outside trends. Perhaps it's more apt to say that her bags are reaching beyond it.
